What’s involved in key seasonal work on a property’s exterior?

In so many ways, you can make the analogy to getting a haircut in a barbershop.

That’s partly because of the similarities between natural growth of hair on the human body, and the natural growth of vegetation in a natural outdoor space.

But there are other similarities, too, as we’ll see.

Property Cleanups

When our crews go out to properties in the spring, we’re typically involved in all of those different things that make up comprehensive seasonal cleanup activity.

Part of that involves cleaning up debris from items that may have blown into a yard from nearby areas. Part of it is sprucing up beds and larger shrubs and trees.

To go back to the analogy, think about how you manicure hair on a human head. You have different components of the same collective process – trimming around the sideburns, for example, and around the ears, and on the back of the neck.

In terms of exterior property management, you have cleaning up large and small beds, major yard areas and smaller curb areas or other green spaces, while also trimming back standing plants.

The common idea here is that one of these entire projects takes a lot of skills and resources, and a lot of equipment and tools.

That’s kind of a given, in a way, but it makes sense to think about it when you’re sourcing these kinds of projects.

Another way to think about it is that these projects take both a physical and a design effort.

First and foremost, you have to craft a plan and a strategy for keeping an exterior area in good shape.

Then you have to have the muscle, the physical resources, to go out and get it done!

We have both, along with the cutting-edge equipment that one needs to implement one of these plans well.

So like with a great haircut, you walk onto your lawn thinking “boy, this really looks nice and even…!”

That’s a little bit about what we do in the Jacksonville area, but we also do a lot of different kinds of exterior work.
